Harlem Jazz Series - 2018

The Harlem Jazz Series is curated by Arts & Education Continuum’s Artistic Director, Craig Harris, trombonist, composer and longtime Harlem resident. Harris has been a major figure in the Harlem jazz scene since 1976. He has performed throughout the USA and abroad with some of the genre's most important figures.

Every Tuesday afternoon and Friday evening, Harlem will play host to some of today's most talented jazz musicians while paying tribute to history's greatest jazz music. And YOU'RE invited! These are events for all of the senses, and it is meant to be both mentally and spiritually uplifting.

Location:  Greater Calvary Baptist Church, 43-55 West 124th Street, New York, NY 10027.  Take A,B,C or D trains to 125th Street, walk east to Lenox Avenue/Malcolm X Blvd, turn right and walk to 124th Street.  On 124th Street turn left and walk to the church.  Take 2 or 3 trains to 125th Street, walk to 124th Street, turn left and walk to the church.

House doors open at 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday and 6:30 p.m. every Friday.
